How do you eat kaya?
There are many ways to eat kaya. The Terry Toast recommended way is to toast your preferred choice of bread, and slather a generous amount of kaya on both sides. Then, add a slab of butter about a quarter inch thick between the two slices.
Great kaya jam! Will be coming back again soon. Terrence was really nice
When I tasted Terry Toast's original kaya for the first time, I felt like I was in a Singapore kopitiam enjoying real kaya toast. I have ordered other kaya online, and find that Terry Toast has more natural ingredients than the Srikaya pandan jam, and is smoother than the Glory brand's kaya as well. Also, it's made locally in Canada, so what's not to like?
My husband was born in Malaysia and his aunt would make this spread. He said this recipe is very close to what he had growing up. The product got here on time, was packaged well and we had no issues. We will be reordering.
Even before I had the opportunity to taste the product, the customer service really impressed me with their personal service. The Kaya was delicious and creamy. The flavour reminded me of my time in Malaysia.
Terry Toast's Kaya is creamy and full of flavour without being too sweet. This version of Kaya is exactly how I remember Kaya tasting when I was a child. I've been waiting for that version to return. I love how this version uses high quality ingredients so the flavours really come through.
Got it when it's having buy1get1 free sale. If you're still wondering, just get it, you won't be disappointed. The quality is solid, and the flavor is just right on plain toast, not too sweet not too savory. Will buy again for sure.
It is DELICIOUS!!! I bought 10 jars for my entire team and everyone just loved it. It is so creamy and rich and the pandan fragrance is just amazing!
I received a jar of Terry Toast's Kaya from my friend and although I dont really like trying new things, my friend swear upon this that it is amazing and that I HAD to try it. So I gave it a go,.... Needless to say, I am now addicted!!!! I dont usually write reviews, but thank you Terry for making this! I already bought 4 for myself and my family! The coconut and pandan taste is perfect and its the perfect level of sweetness!! You definitely get what you paid for! Worth every penny! Definitely a Premium for sure! Highly recommend it. Btw, Ive tried it with Croiffles and its the best pairing ever!!! Thank you Terry!
This is my first time trying premium kaya spread and I would have to say I am blown away by how smooth and creamy it is. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and the pandan has me hooked. You don't need too much; it tastes great just on a spoon or on some bread. This spread has me missing my home country. I am almost finished my jar and I look forward to ordering more! Thank you Terry for your wonderful service and amazing spread!
I'm so glad to find that I can get Kaya spread in Vancouver. Thanks Terry Taste. The Kaya tastes so yummy and the sweetness is just right for me.
Kaya taste really good. Unfortunately expiry date too short, too far for me to pick up one at a time all the way from Richmond ,if buy two unable to finish before it expire.
I’d never tried or even heard of Kaya before, but I’d seen photos and decided to try! I enjoy it on plain toast with butter but honestly I also eat it out of the container with a spoon sometimes which is how I’m halfway done despite having it for only a few days. It’s also good with Filipino Pandesal! I only wish they came in a bigger container, like those value size peanut butter containers haha. I’d totally buy.
It's very different from store bought Kaya, for one it's way sweeter, and you probably don't wanna slather it on. Just a teaspoon is enough for a slice of bread. The consistency is also very much smoother than the store bought stuff. Two thumbs up!
